Meet John Francis O’Kane

In life, we get the odd curveball. We never quite know what’s around the corner, and nothing ever turns out just how we expect it to. What makes it all easier? Friends and loved ones, and I am fortunate to have a forever friend in John’s mummy Catherine O’Kane. She has been a constant in my life, through many ups and downs, and I can always count on her.

So it definitely wasn’t a typical family session this week. Every couple & family are special, but this little man has been patiently waited upon & prayed for – and meeting him was definitely one of the highlights of my whole year.

He’s perfection, and I’m so glad Catherine let me document this special time for their family. As you know, I don’t really photograph newborns. I’m usually capturing brides & grooms or older children, but hopefully I manage to do this little darling justice.

I remember that stage all too well. And it passes in a blur. Hopefully you can look back on these photos and feel happy that we took the time to capture these moments Catherine. Much love Kx
