A Little Bit About Me
Well hello there! I’m Keri-Leigh, Gareth’s wifey and mum to Georgia and Liam. I’m a professional (accredited) photographer, and my niche is capturing children, families & weddings. Every now and again I take on some commercial projects which fit well with my photography brand, my background is in editorial so fashion assignments are always welcome in my email inbox.
We are lucky to live in picturesque mid Ulster, but my camera’s and I travel all over NI, and there’s a fair bit of venturing over the border too. I’ve captured weddings in both Ireland and Spain – and keeping with the theme I recently shot a trio of International weddings in a row, with a French groom, a Hungarian groom and an American groom. All in the same fortnight!
I just love fun clients like the fabulous girls in the photograph above! Aside from my work (if you can even call it that) I’m a lover of long conversations, weekends away with the girls, exploring new places and introducing my children to retro things like nights away in Donegal without wifi (they are not so keen haha). I’m totally obsessed with interiors magazines and Pinterest. A fishbowl of gin watching Netflix is usually the highlight of my nights off, and my favourite cup of coffee is the one my husband makes me on lazy Sunday mornings together – usually before we head into the studio! I work unsociable hours so my clients don’t need to book time off to have their family captured, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.
As your family photographer, I aim to portray the magic of childhood by creating authentic and beautiful images – full of light and life. If you want perfectly posed photographs with every hair in its place, then you should probably look elsewhere because that’s not really what we are about. Candid, and unscripted, that is definitely more our thing.
If you’re getting married, I’m so excited for you! This is truly an amazing time in your life, and I would be delighted and honoured to spend your special day with you, capturing all those unforgettable moments in our typical low-key documentary style.
Are you getting married soon? We would love to welcome you to the bridal studio at 26 Main Street Portglenone, and the diary is currently open for couples booking 2020 & 2021 dates. Overseas clients I use zoom for you guys, we get a lot of Americans on our shores so don’t be scared to come say hi online. We fully customise all our packages for your needs – with both digital and album (print) packages available, and a custom elopement package too.
