Well can you even believe it? It’s January already! The last 6 months have literally flown in and this poor blog has been severely neglected. The new studio is finally on the verge of opening so it’s high time I brought the website bang up to date – yep that’s my new years resolution. Well, there may be some dieting involved too sure it’s traditional!
The first session to blog in 2018 is a very special one. Alison is an old Dalriada school friend of mine, and I was so excited to capture her beautiful family. Can you believe neither mum nor dad wanted to be in the photos? Ha! I hope these photos convince them they were wrong on that one. Here’s a small selection from their gallery. As always, if you want your own timeless family images captured on a relaxed day out with me (and a hidden camera) PM on Facebook Kx
Dramatic skies, and the lush greenery of Portrush’s golf course make an impressive backdrop to our family photographs. Any wonder it’s a favourite location.
Beautiful kids, they were just so natural in front of the camera. A dream.
Meet mummy, who says you have to look at the camera? The side shot is one of my absolute loves.
Of course, it’s not all about the girls is it?
Fun times with the family, that’s how we get the genuine smiles.
Can I just say he reaaaaaallllyy didn’t want to be in this shot! Not wise!
Who wouldn’t want to see a lovely photo like that, I mean I’d say the days of people putting a framed photo on their desk at work are pretty much gone (of course I still do!) but hey phone wallpaper heaven right?
Baby blues for days.
Hard to believe this was taken in the winter months, isn’t it? Photographers aren’t big fans of the sunshine, it plays havoc with shadows on faces and squinty eyes aren’t exactly flattering, but winter sun has none of the harshness and makes for a beautiful backdrop – if you’re lucky enough to time it right!
Love love love this.
Thank you to the Kane family, it was an absolute pleasure!
